It is that time again,  I can't believe December is almost gone.   I did pretty good in reading this month.

Favourite books this month

The Perfect Husband - It was a great suspense book I couldn't put it down. I read her books before so I knew that I would like this one. Hopefully in the new year I will read more of her books.

Glory in Death - It was great to read more of this wonderful series. I can see why so many people love this series. I have a long way to catch up!


Challenges:

I finished two challenges this year:

Woman Fiction Challenge - I read 5 books, so I was happy about that. I am going to do that challenge again next year.
Goodreads Challenge - I read 40 books. First time I actually finish the goodreads challenge!

This has been a great year.  We found out that we are expecting again.  In less than a month time, we will have a newborn!



Reading Wise, I have been enjoying reading a lot more this year.  I read 40 books.  I love doing the meme " What I am reading this Monday". I like seeing what other people are reading, every though it makes my to read list much bigger.

They are all authors that I read before, but they were so great books, I can't wait to read more by all these authors next year.


Favourite  new series that I read this year:

I didn't read many new series this year ( which is good for my to read list), but this is one series that I have heard about many times on blogs, I thought it was time to read it. I am glad that I start this series, I hope to read of the series next year.
 

Week In Review

I had a great Christmas. It is so cool seeing Christmas in the eyes of a toddler. She actually understand more about Christmas this year, so that was cool. She loves her new toys.

I got some nice presents too -  4 movies, a tv show dvd and some couple puzzles.


The Christmas train was so much fun even thought it did rain. My daugther had so much fun, she love seeing the nutcracker display.


I didn't finish any book this week, but I almost finished a book!


Currently reading:

What a great book. Lisa Gardner is a great Suspense author.

Year In Review Recap

 I had a great reading week. I finished two books, yay. I guess have a relaxing day on Saturday helped a lot for my reading.

I can't believe that Christmas is this week, I still have a few things to pick up.  We are taking my daugther on a Christmas train on Tuesday, she loves trains, so I hope she enjoys it.

I don't normally read science fiction/fantasy books but I am trying to read different genres and my husband reads Terry Pratchett books so I can talk to him about it.


Watching:

I am currently watching Firefly with my husband. It is a show that is only one season but I am enjoying it.

I watch Psych, I am currently still on Season 3, it is a show that is pretty funny.

Week In Review

Week In Review

I had a pretty good week. I finished a book.

I have been reading a lot of Christmas board books to my 2 year old daughter, she is really enjoying them. I am doing a book advent calendar instead of chocolates, so she gets a Christmas book every night.

I am getting more and more tired as the pregnancy goes on. Can't believe that I am 35 weeks already.

I have decided that I am going to not doing reviews as much. Just maybe say in Week In Review if I enjoy it or not. Unless the book is a really great one and I want to tell everybody about it. So I won't review every book.

Finished this week:

Really love this book .  It was great. Look forward to reading more of her books in the new year.


Could not finish it:

I tried to finish this but just couldn't.  Too bad as I love cozy mysteries!


Currently reading:

I am loving loving this book. I have seen the movie a few years ago, but it is still a good Christmas book.

Review:  I love love this book. I couldn't put it down. There was some suspense to it, so I was happy about that.  I really enjoying Fern Micheals. I look forward to reading more by her soon.

Review: I tried my best to read this book, but it was just so slow and I didn't even want to read when I had the time to read. So I decide since I have so many books to read, why waste time on a book I am not enjoying.

Challenge

I decide that I am only going to do two challenges next year - the goodread challenge and Woman Fiction Challenge. With a new baby coming in January and having a toddler, I am not sure how much reading is going to get now, so I didn't want to do many challenges.

So onwards to the Woman Fiction Challenge. I love doing this challenge this year, so I knew that I had to pick this one as the only other challenge that I am going to do. You should defintely check out it if you love Woman Fiction.

 This challenge is for those who enjoy reading women's fiction. There are different levels. I am going to go with Motivated first.

Week In Review

I also went to my husband work Christmas party, that went well. Being pregnant, I was home before 11 of course!!!
