Hope everybody is having a good week. We had some nice weather this weekend. We went for a hike and then we went swimming at the swimming pool in our complex and then today we went to the beach ( no reading at the beach, but I did make sandcastles with Erin)
Since the last time I posted on here, I have finished a few books:
Gone Girl - It was slow at the beginning by then in the middle of the book, it got very good. Lots of twist and turns. I didn't really like the ending, but that happens sometime, but it was still a good book. - 4/5
Summer Rental - I loved loved this book. It had friendships, romance and a tiny bit of suspense. This is the first time reading this author and definitely won't be the last time. Can't wait to read more by here soon - 4.5/5

Great book so far. Very easy read.

Was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how things were with you! Yes Mary Kay Andrews writes a fun novel. That's one I have yet to read, most likely by audio when I get to it. Can't imagine you reading at the beach though with two young ones to keep an eye on!
ReplyDeleteEven before kids, I could never read on the beach, not sure why though.
DeleteLooks like a great bunch of books!

Like your mix of books especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy The Martian. I didn't like it that much, but I will still try to see the movie - maybe I'll like the movie version better (although that would be a first).
ReplyDeleteMy It's Monday! What Are You Reading? post.
I still need to read Gone Girl and I've heard The Martian is really good. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend in the sun. I wasn't a Gone Girl fan. I think I will watch Martian but not my kind of book.
ReplyDeleteAll look like great books. Hope you enjoy. Happy reading. Have a good week.
