What I am Reading

Hello, hope everybody is doing ok.  I am doing as best as I can be in this situation.  I am doing a lot of reading lately, as reading definitely helps me stay calm.

I am been watching a few shows on netflix and working on on some school work too, it is just a upgrading course right now.  But I am hoping to get into an office Administration program with book keeping specialty in Jan 2021, but we will see.

Onto book.

This week on the blog: I am hoping to post some reviews this week and my five favorite authors this week too but we will see how the week.  No pressure to do, only if I feel up to it. 

What I am Reading

It has been a long since I posted here, I don't even know if anybody even reading this blog anymore, but that's ok.

I am not going to talk about what is happening in the world right now, as you already know about that.

It is definitely hard for me dealing with the virus stuff that is going on.  I have a lot of anxiety of everything that is going on, especially after what happened to my older daugther last year ( it is not the exact same thing as her problem was her heart. But a lot of the medical stuff that they talk about in the news is stuff that we have to deal with during that time.

It is still hard to believe that my first born is gone.  The support system that was helping with the grief, I can't see them right now as we are doing social distancing, I still text them but of course it is not the same thing.

Books have definitely helping through this all.  Hope everybody is stay home and stay safe out there.

I have tried to write this post about 10 times but I just can't seem to hit send but I think I am ready for this.

So my older daughter got really really sick and sadly she passed away this summer.  I am just taking one day at a time ( I am not going to write what happened as it is too personal) , but I just wanted you guys to know why I haven't been on here for a long time.


I am hoping sometime in the next few weeks to write some book posts here is what I am planning:

1: Books I want to read in Fall
2: Book I read this summer.

I am just taking one day at time so I don't want to plan too far ahead.

Week In Review

Well it has been ages since I actually have posted here.

Things have been really busy here. My oldest kid started school this year, so that has been fun.  I am still doing a lot of reading,  just not having time to post on here all the time, but I am going to try and post more in the new year.

I am even going to do a few book challenges next year, we will see how that goes.

Here is what I am currenty reading:

It is a big book, it is probably going to take a few months to read it!


Next to read:

It has been ages since I have posted on this blog. Life has just gotten busy with two kids, being sick, reading.. etc.  I am going to try and post more often, but we will see.

We are going in a few weeks, so hopefully I can read some beach reads!

Tried to read:

I tried to read this book, but I just couldn't get into it. My husband loves science fiction so I really want to like it, as he loved the book but sometimes you just have to stop reading, if you aren't enjoying.

Currently reading:

Really loving this book.  Great book. First time reading this author.


Next to read:

Week In Review

Hope everybody is doing well. We have been having some nice spring weather so that is always nice.  I am looking forward to the summer time when I get read outside in the patio.

I have finished a few books since last time I posted here.

This was a ok book.  Not sure if I will read more books by this person.  3/5

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a reread for me. I am starting to reread the series this year. ( I think there is two that series that haven't read, but I thought why don't I reread the series.)

Week In Review

It has been a while since I posted on here.

I have been doing pretty well.  It was my birthday last monday and then my dad's birthday the day after so that was hard. I had a pretty good birthday though, I went out for dinner with my kids and husband  and got some gifts ( coloring books and puzzles).

Finished:

It was a ok book - 3/5

Great start to a new series: 4/5

Yes some of these titles have been there for a while now.  I will get to them, but I sometimes find books at the library I want to read!
