Review
Review:
I tried so hard to finish this book as I do love this author, but I just couldn't. It actually took me like days to even read like a few chapters, so I decide to stop. It wasn't like her other books that I read of her, so I think that was a reason that I couldn't get into it.

Puzzles
Since my blog is actually named hobbies and everything in between, I thought I would talk about one of my favorite hobbies to do, which is doing puzzles.
I think I have just as many puzzles as I have books, that is how much I love to do puzzles.
I have been doing puzzles since I was a little girl, and even since then, I have collected many of them. I stop doing puzzles for a bit while dealing with having a infant in the house, but now that my daughter is a toddler and actually has a bedtime, I do puzzles at night. I love to do puzzles as it relaxs me and I love seeing the end result.
Some of my favorites to do are:
Hometown collection puzzles
any puzzles with food in it
Charles Wysocki
Once I finish the puzzle I am working on right now, I will post a picture so you can see.

Review
Genre: Suspense with a bit of romance
Rating: 2/5
Review: I wanted to like this book, it had everything I like in a book, romance, suspense and christmas, but there was just something about it that I didn't like, I just couldn't connect with the characters. I don't think I will be reading another book by her.

I am going to post goals for the next two months and then come back at the end of that second month( Feb) and show how far I have come!!
Book goals:
Read at least 6 books out of my to read shelf at home
Read a different genre that I usually do
Personal goals:
Get my learner drivers license ( I never learn to drive when I was 16 and now that I have a kid, I want to drive)
Go swimming at least once a week
Crafting goals:
Finish a scrapbook
Paint at least twice a month
Start to use sewing machine more and start doing a project on it.

Review: Wrapping Up In You
Review:
Genre: Chick Lit
Here is the summary from goodreads about the book, just in case you are interested in the book.
Thirty-something
hairdresser Janie Johnson's single status is a constant source of gossip
for her friends and clients. So after too many nights in with her cat, a
blind date disaster, and news that her ex is getting married, Janie
realizes it's time to do something dramatic with her life. It's time for
an adventure! Leaving winter behind, Janie takes the plunge and books
an exotic trip to Africa. Her friends think she's mad and Janie thinks
they may very well be right, but then she falls head over heels for her
tour guide—and fully fledged Maasai Warrior—Dominic. But can Janie now
face spending a snowy Christmas back home without him?
Now onto my review:
Rating: 4/5
Genre: Chick Lit
Is it is a part of series - no.
Review: I got this book from the library because I thought it was a christmas book, but there isn't really much christmas in the book, but once I started the first couple of chapters, I couldn't stop reading it. It was a great book. I really like the relationship between the main character and her boyfriend from Africa. There was also a surprise at the end that I didn't see coming. I will defintely look for more books by Carole Matthews.
